To our patients and their loved ones:
We want you to know that during this national crisis we at Charter Health are available to help with your medical concerns and questions. We will continue to see some patients in the office AND we are able to conduct visits over the phone (telemedicine). We expect that most of the major health insurers will allow visits to be done by phone during this crisis situation.
Do not hesitate to call our office (978-354-4611) with concerns and questions, whether they be about the Coronavirus or about other health issues. An excellent source for information on the Coronavirus is the Centers of Disease Control: www.cdc.org.
In the meantime, please protect yourselves and loved ones. It is especially important to protect our patients with chronic disease and those aged 60 and above.
Social distancing is extremely important to reduce the spread of the virus. Many people who are infected have not yet developed symptoms but still can spread the disease.
Wash your hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizer should have an alcohol content of at least 60% or more.
Do your best to avoid touching your face. Pathogens like Coronavirus can be transmitted from your hands to the mucous membranes of your eyes, nose, and mouth. If you need to touch your face, first wash your hands.
Be extra vigilant when going to the grocery store or other necessary places.
